Terms of Use

General

• You are bound by these TOU regardless of whether or not you take the time to read them.
• We reserve the right to refuse ANY individual membership.  We are not obliged to give a reason but will when possible.
  
• You do not need a website to join MuseMates but if you do have one you must provide us with the URL.  If on reading your TOU  we find you require generic access to the member areas of Your members then we will require the same from you if you want to join MuseMates.  This is in order to protect our work in the same way as you would want yours protected. If you do not require generic access from your members, then we will not require it from you.
  
• Your site must not contain pornography, abuse, hatred or promotion/violation of any human rights.
• You MUST display either a text link or our logo with a clickable link back to http://musemates.com within 7 days of joining this site.
• Our TOU are subject to change at ANY time.  We will try to notify all members in advance.
  

• Once your Username and Password are issued to you there will be NO refund ... There are NO exceptions to this.

• When you purchase a membership to MuseMates you are purchasing a license to use OUR work, you will not and do not purchase a copyright.  The copyright remains ©MuseMates at ALL times.
• Your membership is personal you YOU and may not be shared with Friends or Family members.
• You must post our banner with a link or text link only within 7 days of joining us, your membership will be suspended with no refund of time lost if this is not done.
• You may not give your login information to others even if they claim to be a member. If someone claims to have forgotten their member/login information, please ask them to contact us. Any member found to be giving out their member/login information risks having their membership revoked and without refund.

  Tubes and Bases
   

• Our Tubes are for your use only - You may NOT pass them on to others or offer them as is ... You may NOT offer our tubes in your own members area.  If you have an AS IS license for sale on your site ... You may NOT include any of our tubes, sigtags or graphics in that.
• You may use our tubes for profit only if you add to them.  Text alone is NOT enough, you must add more to them to make them into a 'scene'.
• You are NOT permitted to redistribute our tubes through any forums, groups and/or CD's.  This list is not exhaustive.
• You may NOT recolour, resize or frankendoll ANY of our tubes .. they are to be used as you download them with other tubes and text added to them only.
• Any sigtag that you order from this Site must be linked back to http://musemates.com where and whenever it is used.
• Any sigtag you request is for your personal use only.  You may NOT offer it for download on your own site whether it be public or a members area. You may not offer it ANYWHERE ... be that a forum, group, Downloadable CD/DVD.
• Any tutorials we may offer are not to be shared in any fashion or form.   They are for personal use only.   You may download the page to use for your own personal use offline.
• None of our Tube, Sigtags future Tutorials or Lines may be shared in ANY fashion at all.
• If you use any of our bases you Must link back to http://musemates.com at all times.
  
  Lineart
   
• You may tube your results for personal use only.  You may NOT offer downloadable tubes unless you hold a tube license you have purchased from me.
• You may use your results from our Linearts to make websets, graphics premades etc, for free or for profit in a public or members area. 
• You may not add anything you make from our lines to any CD Collection for sale.  This would then incur Royalties for each disc sold.  This includes anyone with a License.
• You may not turn any of our Lineart into tutorials for your own site.
• You may not offer your results as 'snaggable' in MSN or Yahoo style groups or indeed any other Forum.  You may offer them as personalised sig tags.
• You may not frankendoll ANY of our characters.  It is ok to move/add or remove the odd pixel here and there but you may not for example use the body of one character with the head of another ... regardless of where it comes from.   Added 10/09/06
  
  Sig Tag Terms
   
• You may request 2 Sig Tags per week for your own personal use, you may not request sigtags for friends or family.
• All Sig Tags MUST be linked back to http://musemates.com where and whenever they are used ... This includes emails.
  
  Licenses
   
• Your tube license is LIFETIME ... but ... in order to use it ... You must have an active membership.   Once your membership expires you will not be permitted to offer tubes from our lines/tuts until such a time as your membership is renewed and active again.  You will NOT need to reactivate/renew your tube license ... just your membership.
• You may not offer naked bases of any of our dolls or characters - they MUST be dressed first.
• Please do not tube and offer complete collections of our Lines.
• The licence is for YOUR use only.  You may offer your results to my lines and/or tuts on YOUR site only.  You may NOT sell anything with an offer to resell or offer AS IS on a site different to your own.  This license is for YOU only and is NOT transferrable.  This covers grapics offered in ANY format !
